I live on the north side of that bridge, the north shore. It's all surburbia and industrial warehouses. Not as exciting as the city.

I find myself ever slightly more frieghtened as my departure date draws nearer. It's been an emotionally turbulent year at times and I feel like I've grown alot. Something nags inside of me though and I feel that perhaps I should consider staying here a while longer. Maybe it's just fear of change. I've gotten somewhat acclimated to life here and I'll miss it after the school years gone. I'm sounding awfully nostalgic now.

Down in Turangi. Everyone is fly fishing. Some boys caught a trout the other day and beat it to death with a rock. They gave it to us and we ate it for breakfast. My director brought a book called Naked Lunch with him and I've been reading it. It's two main themes seem to consist of drugs and homosexuality. Hardly my thing but still I read on through trying to gleam what possible meaning is there if any. The river here is exuberant.
