Laundry day
On the walk I pause to take a picture of this bridge over the quaint Provo river. I tell myself I'll explore a moment there on the walk home.
I understand why the greeks believed there were Gods living at the top of these things.
Doing laundry is a bore...and yes the laundry lady is looking at me with an expression of curiosity as I take a picture of one of her dryers(albeit with my laundry in it).
As I promised myself, I return to the bridge to seek a moment of zen.
Enjoying the view from the bridge... The temperature is dropping rapidly as the sun sets.
Should I turn this thing?
Did I do that!?

I decided not to ride the bike to work this morning. Actually, it's got a flat tire and I havn't used it in ages.

the monday after
the weekend passed and it's back to work. It amazes me how fast the weeks swing by, one just the other. I picked up some wierd german chocolates at this independant theater in Salt Lake City, where I watched Good Bye, and Good Luck(which I enjoyed). Anyway, these chocolates made enough of an impression on me that I decided to photograph them:
On friday evening there was a beautiful sunset. I noticed as I was sitting in my house because all the sudden the light coming in through the window was mar's red. I tushed out with my camera to capture tha amazing color but unfortunately, my apartment is surrounded by trees and there was no clear picturesque shot to be had. I snapped some anyway and maybe you can still get the idea:
And while I'm posting random images I might as well put up this rusted barbwire I snapped a shot of while walking home from work one day last week:
Okay...I guess that's all I have for now. Everything's fine and life is grand and uncomplicated (if you chose) and I can't really complain...

a new view
Me and Steven(my co-worker) finished moving offices today. The new office is pretty nice with a lot more space and a way better view. I took this picture through the window in front of my desk:

Happy New Year's!
2006 seemed like an infinity away when I was back in high school. We're half way through the decade already and really getting into all the far off sci-fi years those sci-fi writers from the 70's wrote about. It is a pretty cool era with all the cell phones and digital devices, along with video games and the internet. What else cool has come to pass? I can't think of anything. I guess that's why someone started calling this the digital age. My favorite invention/novelty of the digital age has got to be those virtual pet keychain things, especially the ones you can link up with your friends and battle. I've got to get one of those. Anyway, I'm flying out tomorrow, away from Arizona, and back into Utah. Then it's back to the job on Monday. Anyway, a farewell photo of Tucson desert-scape:
I took some other photos as well, which I'll have to put up on the gallery as soon as I can figure out how to work the thing again.
