uncertainty uncertainly
My digital camera has a tiny mirophone which you can use to make the lowest quality recordings...but it's fun. Take time to listen to Lo-fi uncertainty and read along if you like: This weekend's pill is something to keep me still when the silence of my apartment is crowding in. -the urge to move for the sake of moving. transitioning: the days go by when I'm not thinking about living, just breathing, without giving for the constant of my conscious. Routine is not life, it's sleeping, when the only time that I'm awake is when I'm dreaming. Well, I'm dreaming about waiting for something more or even less... But I'll medicate to distract myself. I'll medicate to distract myself. On quiet nights the past is present, restless-reckless in capsule measures... I'll take comfort from where I'm heading because the path looks faint, if there was one. But I'll find myself on one of these pages, searching for changes, in the channels of thought, the currents and spaces in between these arrangements, I'll make plans not knowing what for yet... But direction is living when routine is not life, it's sleeping. And the only time that I'm awake is when I'm dreaming. Well, I'm dreaming about waiting for something more or even less, if to accept is to make what comes next, well, I'll soon be uncertainly checked.. What's coming next is next time. --------------------------------------- Oh, and for the record, no, I'm not hooked any pills of any kind except for aspirin.

Rock Canyon
Went up to Rock Canyon today. It's cool that you can get this view just 5 minutes drive from my house.

Lots of visitations lately. My Dad visited me this week and my Mom had visited the week before last. My dad wanted to go visit an old highschool buddy that happens to live out in the middle of nowhere Utah. It was interesting to seeing all the small towns and long stretches of road. We passed by one route that had a sign reading, 'No service for the next 110 miles. No bull!'
We decided not to take that route.
My dad was entertaining the idea of buying a house somewhere out in this wilderness. This is not my kind of country...dry and dusty, freezing cold in the winters and burning hot in the summers, away from all the conveniences of modern life.
I wouldn't mind living in a small town someday...but not in a place like this.

Cinema on a Thursday
I saw 'The World's Fastest Indian' last night. I think the only reason it's playing here is because it relates to Utah. The movie takes place in NZ and Utah, which kind of has special signifigance for me since I used to live in NZ and now live in Utah. Although specifically, I've never been to the bonneville salt flats and I surely have never been to Invercargill. It was a great film and Anthony Hopkins was really amazing. I was blown away from his performance, which was spot on down to the accent and demanor of an old kiwi codger.

routine is not life, it's sleeping
and the only time I feel awake is when I'm dreaming. I got a used ipod(can't afford a new one), and immediately loaded it up witha about 8 days worth of music, a little over 3000 songs. Yet amazingly, when on shuffle it seems to like to play about a dozen of the same songs quite a lot. It's an amazing thing to be able to carry all of that music in my pocket and have access to it anytime. I remember last time when I was in NZ that it was really depressing that I didn't have any music. Now that will never happen again, at least until I drop my ipod in the toilet or something. Well, lunch break has probably been over for 15 minutes or more. Back to audio editing some portuguese saying stuff like, "Now you get to pick a head for your animal!".
